The Quick-Release Method: Our monofin is designed to stay securely on your feet but can be quickly removed in or out of the water. Simply push away with the other foot, use your free foot to push the monofin away, and then pull the tail below your hips to swim out.

Are Fin Fun Mermaid Tails Made in America? All Fin Fun mermaid tails are proudly designed in Idaho. Our Elite and custom tail lines are made by us in Idaho Falls, while for our other lines, we work with a network of international manufacturers who must meet our strict quality standards.

How do I know if my child is ready for a mermaid tail and monofin? As a general rule, we recommend children wait until they are at least 6 years old and a strong swimmer to swim in one of our mermaid tails, with adult supervision required.

Why are Fin Fun's tails open at the bottom? We have designed our mermaid tails to be open at the bottom to make it easy to put on and remove the monofin inside the tail, helping to keep your mermaid safe while swimming.
